Update = fewer features

Yet another example of Comcasts poor customer service: the recent update removed the short list of "previously viewed channels." Why? No telling. Also, by moving the place where program details appear, users have to click to close, instead of being able to view details for a number of programs.

updates do more harm than good

why do updates remove or break functionality that was working fine before?

Crashes over and over

Crashes every time after 2nd or 3rd tap. Very unreliable. DO NOT DOWNLOAD. And now often I get a completely blank channel guide. Usually, but not always, I have to completely shut down my iPad and restart to get the guide.

Broken!

The newest upgrade broke what was one of my most used apps. Now all programs are listed as "unsupported version of TV Remote".

No longer works at ALL!

The guide no longer works at all, it just says "unsupported version." I even received an email stating I need to update it but there is no update! Way to go Comcast... Wow...

TERRIBLE!!!

It wont let me sign in and Ive deleted and downloaded the app many times and it still doesnt work and all my other apps work fine so I know its not my device

Lasted one month

Worked great in October but again once iPhone is updated this app doesnt work You cannot see what you have scheduled plus the listing doesnt show if you recorded the show Please get it back and working

Limited Functionality

My remote broke and have had to use this instead and here are times I cannot get notifications off my screen.

To bad Comcast cant design an app that actually works with all it suggest it had to offer. Comcast talks a great story, but the fall short on delivering. That explains why you cant subscribe to home security without a 2 year contract. My guess would be, if they lowered the 2 year commitment, they would lose many customers. Bait and switch. Good thing is that 2 years is only 2 years long.

I used to like it

Before the update I was able to look for on demand shows that were included with the cost of admission (free). Now I have to click on each show to see whether or not there is a cost to view it. Im glad the filter option was brought back for the TV listings. It was annoying to not be able to select sports from the app. If I could just select free on demand movies again this would be a more user friendly product.

Horrible

Theres a reason this app is one of the worst rated in itunes store. And its been poorly rated for many months. Just shows you how bad support is and has always been with Comcast. This new version does not give you any indication after you hit "record episode" that it will record. The old version at least would show a red dot for confirmation. Most programs only have a generic explanation of the episode now. I always keep multiple copies of old versions so I can reload it if a new version is dumbed down like this one is, but they also implement "forced updates" so a user must update or the app will not work. Completely useless app. Satellite cable is getting ever so close now.

Latest version is unsupported

Ive had the latest version for a few weeks now and it kind of worked until a couple days ago. Now it continuously gives the message "unsupported version of remote " for every channel listing. As of this review there is no newer version so ... What gives?

Amazingly awful app.

What happened? It is no longer possible to search for upcoming shows - the search results are totally confusing, listed out of chronological order with no way to sort, incorrect times, and not relevant to what I am searching for. I simply cant find anything. Try it yourself Xfinity people: search "soccer" or "UEFA". See? Check out your competition - particularly the "TV Listings" app for interesting ideas ON HOW TO MAKE A SIMPLE REMOTE/LISTINGS APP!!!!! I have lots of experience as a program manager. Call me if you want some help.

Does not work.

The app no longer works to schedule programs. The recents update has made this a completely useless program.

Useful, but I cant switch TVs

I cannot control my bedroom tv like I used to be able to. It will not switch when I select the tv. Its checked, but still controls the living room tv

Updated version just not accurate, not reliable

When I look at the Scheduled Recordings on my iPhone vs. Scheduled Recordings on my Comcast box, they dont come close to matching. The iPhone version doesnt show at least three repeating recordings.

I love XFINITY but your apps are Slow no matter if on wifi or on Lte hope to see an improvement soon... @elhugo311

Not fully functional

Used to be able to change channels and set recordings via the app. I can still change channels but can no longer set recordings... very frustrating. Comcast support is less than helpful as normal.
