XFINITY TV Remote App Reviews

Every channel listing only says "Unsupported Version of TV Remote". They broke the app with the latest update version 2.3.0.91. Its completely unusable.

I have found this app very helpful in the past and I am disappointed at the current update. The fact that there is no color category difference to highlight which programs are movies versus sports versus childrens makes it very hard to use. Please bring back the color coding ASAP.

I used it every day and then one update and its gone. Please bring it back.

After the update the app only works on one tv. Test on the "Master Bedroom" works (displays on tv) but when choosing a show it attempts to play on the living room... buggy biz. Another decent app ruined by an update.

ugh, now it takes so many more steps. before: 1 page to search for a pattern, see listings results that include only what you could watch|record, see what channels theyre on, and press watch|record. nice! that was then, this is now. now it shows you everything that contains the pattern--regardless if the tv time has passed, regardless if there are no future times. and multiple pages to get info or do anything. A LOT MORE INFO BUT LESS USEFUL. like getting a listing of everything amazon sells, regardless if its in stock, with prices shown on separate pages. UX for 5 year old users.

Horrible. Crashes constantly. Cant view any showtimes.

Suddenly the remote service only works with the latest version of the app, which requires iOS 9. This renders all of the older devices weve got around the house useless for browsing listings or controlling the cable box; it just shows "Unsupported Version of TV Remote" as the title for every show. The new version also displays a much smaller section of the grid, only half hour blocks on 5" devices.

Whatever they did to "improve" it made it useless.

I think that it is time to add the options to pause, play, rewind, etc. functionalities in order to control the TV completely by phone. I also think that a favorites tab for TV shows rather than channels would be a great addition.

This is a great app!! I love that I can set a recording when I see instead of waiting until I get home.

This app is so convenient & easy to use. Ive had no problems with it at all. I love it!

Great when youre away from home and want to record something. Also handy to let you look up shows on the fly

Great app; I just love the ease of managing the tv programming at home and from distant locations.

Whats the point of using this app? I can use it right up to the point where selecting a show onDemand, but need the actual remote to hit O.K./Select. Same goes for trying to select Watch in HD

This app is great when it works but lately Im finding it only half works. The channel guide on left doesnt move with programs on right, record options "buttons" dont work. Its gone all crazy. Shame, it was a great app.

Easy to use and very convenient!

I love this app! So great to be able to schedule recording from anywhere with my phone. Has worked great 100% of the time.

I use it to see what is on and to record a show. Serves me well.

Id love to see more features beyond just changing the channel

Its hard to swipe right into the future on the guide. It keeps loading and isnt smooth.
